The Seneca Nation replaced its outdated and undersized fire hall with a new, $12.3 million state-of-the-art facility for the Cattaraugus Territory. The Apparatus Room offers five drive-through bays plus two shorter bays to accommodate all emergency vehicles. It includes a 400-guest capacity banquet room and full commercial kitchen for social functions. The second-floor houses offices for the Nation’s Emergency Management Dept., a classroom/training room, and a multi-purpose conference room. For energy efficiency, radiant floor heating was included for the Apparatus Room and vehicle apron. Seneca Fire – Cattaraugus is fully staffed with 24/7, EMS trained personnel.
